This amazing Victorian property is 2 mins walk from the Devonport shops and cafes and 8 minutes’ walk from a small local beach and seaside park. Built in the 1800s, the beautifully restored Andelin Guest House is just 700 m from the Auckland Ferry Terminal. It offers free WiFi , luxurious high ceiling elegant rooms fitted with modern amenities.
Each room has a flat-smart screen TV with, Freeview, Netflix, YouTube, capability. All rooms have either a harbour, city or garden view.
Although Andelin Guest House is centrally located in the small Devonport seaside village, it is also only a 10-minute ferry ride from central Auckland, 5 minute drive to historical Cheltenham beach, and 10 minute drive from Takapuna shops and arguably Auckland's best beach. Viaduct Harbour is a 20-minute drive, and Auckland International Airport is a 40-minute drive away. There is a bus stop directly outside the property which runs regularly to Takapuna, Central Auckland or all the way up through the beautiful bays, parks and beaches.
Guests can relax on the sunny terrace in the afternoon, and maybe catch a movie at the lovely restored Victorian cinema which is only 250m down the road. Alternatively, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the ambience and relaxing Andelin guest lounge and maybe watch your favorite Netflix series. Help yourself to complimentary seasonal fruits, tea and freshly ground coffee.
There are many fine local restaurants and cafes available for all day dining, some of our favorites include "Signal Hill", "Vic Road Kitchen", "Buona Sera", "Manuka Cafe", "Corellis Cafe", "So French" and "Deli" for coffee. Alternatively you can choose from one of the other great cafes and restaurants nearby.
